Located just south of Sogakope, this planned 200-acre resort development is envisioned as a place where leisure and living intertwine. From a waterpark to tennis courts, an arboretum, and a future marina, Volta World offers abundant ways to enjoy the outdoors at your own pace. And when you’re ready to explore beyond, nearby attractions like the enchanting Ote Waterfalls, Amedzofe, Adaklu Mountains for hiking, Cape Saint Paul Lighthouse, Woe, and the beautiful beaches at Whuti through to Keta offer even more reasons to stay a little longer.
PROJECT UPDATES
Construction officially began in September 2024, following the successful acquisition of all necessary permits—marking a major milestone in bringing the Volta World vision to life.
This first phase focuses on essential site infrastructure to support long-term growth. Works include the construction of access roads, the installation of electricity, and the development of secure perimeter fencing. A model home and a dedicated site office are also underway—designed to give future residents and visitors a clear sense of the lifestyle and quality Volta World is set to deliver.
Scheduled to commence in the second half of 2025, Phase II will introduce the first components of the resort experience. This includes the initial construction of the 3-star hotel, a riverside restaurant, the signature marina, and accommodation for onsite staff. Key access roads connecting future residences and the marina will also be developed. This will lay the groundwork for seamless movement throughout the estate. Together, these elements will begin to shape the heart of the community—offering spaces to relax, connect, and enjoy everything Volta World has to offer.
